During the day, Marlowe is an award-winning technical writer and information architect. Yet, throughout her life, she has pursued a passion for creative writing.

Marlowe began to write creatively at age 5, when she learned how to compile sentences into paragraphs and then concatenate paragraphs into stories. She continued writing short stories until age 14, when she was introduced to poetry. She never looked back. By age 24, she had earned a Masters of Fine Arts in Poetry, and had published in journals as well as the anthology Dog Music.
